It does not officially impact Top 40 until this coming week, but with a healthy dose of early radio support, Katy Perry’s “Birthday” is working its way up the airplay chart. According to Mediabase, “Birthday” was Top 40 radio’s 38th-most-played song for the seven days ending April 18. Officially a top 40 hit based on spins, the song scored the week’s 35th-largest-audience with an estimated 9.64 million pop radio impressions. The high-profile Perry brings excitement to the bottom of the chart, but there were also noteworthy moves in its upper reaches. Justin Timberlake’s “Not a Bad Thing” advanced three places to number six for the period ending April 18, while Avicii’s “Hey Brother” officially cracked the top ten (and sits at number ten). Ed Sheeran’s “Sing” catapulted from #34 to #21, while Neon Trees’ “Sleeping with a Friend” moved the necessary three places to reach number 25. Nico & Vinz’ breakthrough “Am I Wrong” jumped seven places to become the 26th-most-spun song at Top 40 radio, while Lady Gaga’s “GUY” advanced six places to thirty two.

Picture Of Katy Perry

Stolen art found, a jumbo jet in Heathrow smog, a Tower of London drawbridge and a Katy Perry waxwork at Madame Tussauds. What more could you want? Katy Perry is not only a musical genius but she's also busy creating a brand with her name. A couple of months ago Katy Perry released her 3th perfume: Killer Queen. I've been dying to try it out but somehow always forgot about it when I was at a makeup store. Luckily my mother knows me well and gave me this perfume as a gift for Christmas. Killer Queen is also the name of Katy Perry's company, named after the hit single from Queen. The perfume is tempting with the scent of praline, berries and plums in it.

The idea for this perfume is based on the song "Killer Queen". The song is about the kind of woman Katy Perry wanted to be when she was younger. The kind of woman that makes heads turn around when she enters a room. Katy Perry wanted to create the kind of perfume that could give someone that extra bit of confidence. The design of the flacon was another thing that attracted me to this perfume. It's a ruby with a golden cover which looks like a queen's crown. I like everything that looks kind of royal like. Let's call this flacon the new crown jewel in my collection. PS: you can see Katy Perry's initials on the flacon, two cats (Katy has 2 cats) and a cross (Katy is very religious).

Very Popular Pictures Of Katy Perry

Hey everybody, it's PM's Personal Thoughts and today, I'll be talking about Katy Perry ties Rihanna for most Pop Songs No. 1s from the Billboard charts. Now, I just want you to know that this article was made By Gary Trust on February 10, 2014 2:05 PM EST on the official Billboard website. OK, without further ado, let's get started. According to the Billboard website, with a 3-1 gallop for Dark Horse, Katy Perry matches Rihanna's total of 11 No. 1s on the radio airplay chart. Katy Perry matches Rihanna for the most No. 1s in the 21-year history of Billboard's top 40-based Pop Songs radio airplay chart, as Dark Horse, featuring Juicy J, trots 3-1. The song marks Katy Perry's 11th No. 1 on the ranking (which is fueled by Nielsen BDS monitored data), equaling Rihanna's sum. Rihanna had pulled ahead of Katy Perry when Eminem's The Monster, on which Rihanna is featured, began a five-week reign the week of Dec. 21. Pink ranks third with nine Pop Songs No. 1s, followed by Lady Gaga with seven. Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake share with fifth-place with six No. 1s apiece. (The Pop Songs chart launched the week of Oct. 3, 1992, after the career start of Mariah Carey, among others.)

Since arriving the week of May 31, 2008, with I Kissed a Girl, Katy Perry's record on Pop Songs has been nearly impeccable. While 11 of Katy Perry's 15 chart entries have reached No. 1, three others still peaked in the top 10: I Kissed A Girl (No. 2), 2012's Part of Me (No. 3) and Dark Horse predecessor single Unconditionally (No. 8). Of her chart visits as a lead act, only Thinking Of You (No. 17, 2009) has fallen shy of the top 10. Dark Horse is the second Pop Songs No. 1 from Katy Perry's Capitol Records album, Prism. Lead track Roar (Awful title for a Katy Perry song. I Got The Eye Of The Tiger is a much better title, Katy Perry.) ruled for five weeks beginning in September. As previously reported, programmer interest was so high in Dark Horse that it debuted on Pop Songs the week of Dec. 21 prior to its release as a radio single (as Unconditionally was still scaling the chart). Dark Horse had previously been released digitally as a Prism preview track. Katy Perry has become one of the most consistent hit-makers for top 40, so the reality is once radio heard Prism, it reacted," Capitol Music Group executive VP Greg Thompson told Billboard in December. "The album is packed with singles."
